Reflector Detailing Job Description

In this role you will participate in the detailing of satellite antenna reflectors for paint and the final assembly after paint. Your part will include taking a rough reflector and detailing, sanding, and epoxing components to produce a final finished reflector.

Some of the responsibilities of your position will include:

· Sanding, grinding, and cutting of composite materials

· Using epoxy and other fillers to create a finished looking reflector

· Careful and detailed taping of components for paint

· Basic assembly of bumpers, latch bolts, and other components on the reflector

· Final packaging of the reflectors for shipment

· Using build documents and 3D models for assembly

· Continual attention to detail is key.

· Other duties and jobs as assigned by management

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· Must be Detail Oriented, highly motivated, hardworking, reliable, and have strong integrity.

· Manual dexterity. Reflector detail workers need good hand-eye coordination to achieve a smooth finished looking reflector.

· Mechanical skills. Composite workers use tools such as tape measures, sanders, drills, hammers, wrenches and grinders. As a result, they should have good mechanical skills in order to help operate and maintain equipment

· Paint and body type repair and detailing experience is helpful

· Must be able to read and understand drawings and work instructions

· Standing for long periods of time, squatting/kneeling, and lifting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
