Production Scheduler

Job Summary

Responsible for creating and maintaining daily and weekly production schedules to support efficient operations based on demand, capacity, labor, and material availability. Ensures accurate and timely generation of work orders and labels while coordinating closely with Operations, Planning, Purchasing, and Inventory to support production flow and schedule adherence.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Create, maintain, and adjust daily and weekly production schedules based on demand, capacity, labor, and material availability.

· Coordinate priorities, schedule changes, and constraints with Operations, Supervisors, Team Leads, and the Production Planner.

· Perform material availability checks and escalate shortages or risks to Purchasing, Warehouse, and Inventory.

· Monitor daily production activity and communicate schedule status and changes.

· Adjust schedules to minimize downtime and meet customer commitments.

· Generate, review, and release work orders from the ERP system per approved routings.

· Print and verify production labels to ensure accuracy, revisions, and customer requirements.

· Ensure work orders and documentation reflect current engineering revisions.

· Stage and distribute work orders to production and warehouse areas.

· Identify and escalate documentation or routing issues impacting production flow.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

· ERP experience in a manufacturing environment.

· Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

· Effective cross-functional communication skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

· Ability to exercise sound judgment and prioritize effectively.

· Bilingual (preferred).

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

· 2+ years of manufacturing or operations experience.

· High School Diploma or equivalent required.

· Scheduling or planning experience preferred.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
