Production Shift supervisor

This position will be responsible for advancing culture among the team members by effectively playing responsibilities of supervisor role. This role will focus to achieve smooth plant operation in shift engagement of team members and driving operation vision into action.

What You Will Do

• Leading an operational team in a safe and efficient manner and to take ownership vision advancement, safety, quality, and productivity.
• Build the high-performing team by understanding your direct reports individual capabilities and utilize them as whole. Work with team to create personalizing development plans, deliver meaningful coaching and be involved in selecting and retaining the right people.
• Driving safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively eliminate hazards. Providing safety training to crew members and deliver training materials in a meaningful approach.
• Facilitating team development and communication, employee skill development, problem solving and resolution, building employee commitment and ownership and holding employees accountable.
• Monitoring product quality and provide direction to crew members to maximize efficiency.
• Promoting employee involvement, providing coaching, feedback and direction as required.
• Assisting with troubleshooting production issues.
• Completing data entry responsibilities and generate reports in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports and ensuring the application of the individual performance developments cycle.
• Understanding the cost of decisions and impact to departments and other process.
• Meet or exceed KPI goals by demonstrating success in measuring and improving processes.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience of leading a high performing team as well as ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Experience in adapting to transformation and brining change to the people, process and company that will create the greatest value.
• Good level of communication in English.
• Flexibility to work in rotating shifts.
• Commitment to promoting behaviors aligned to the company's vision and code of conduct.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Chemist or Chemical engineering background.
• Experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in glass production or any heavy industry.
