Production Specialist

At Wood Grain Junkie™, we’re a small family‑run business passionate about creating high‑quality woodworking tools — designed by woodworkers, for woodworkers. We believe in craftsmanship, precision, and building something special together.

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Part‑Time Production Specialist who can work independently with minimal supervision. You should be comfortable in a manufacturing/shop environment, working with wood and acrylic materials, operating production equipment, and maintaining a safety-first mindset at all times.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate CNC machines, drill presses, lasers, router tables, and other woodworking/acrylic equipment
• Handle wood and acrylic materials with care and attention to quality
• Help maintain a clean, safe, well‑organized shop environment
• Communicate with team members to ensure products are in stock and smoothly produced
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a positive, team‑oriented workshop atmosphere

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with CNC, laser, router, and other production tools
• Comfortable working in a factory/shop environment (noise, equipment, materials)
• Strong attention to detail — you’ll be working with precision in both wood and acrylic
• Good communication skills and a collaborative, team‑focused attitude
• Self‑motivated, dependable, and safety‑minded
• Prior warehouse or production experience is advantageous but not mandatory
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools safely
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot minor production issues
• Willingness to learn new equipment and production processes quickly
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain quality standards
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to communicate effectively with coworkers
• Experience with acrylic or woodworking materials is a plus

Job Types: Part-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
