Production Specialist

Here at Sangsin Technology America we are looking to become the industry leader in the creation of transaxles and drum brakes for 18-wheel trailers. Our parent company, Sangsin Brake, is working towards the goal of becoming the number one manufacturer of brake shoes, pads, and lining and we want to add to that.

The Role

We are looking for a Production Specialist who will be responsible for coordinating with all members of the Production, Planning, Purchasing, and Sales Teams in order to ensure smooth day-to-day operations; this may include, but is not limited to the following: sourcing, negotiating, and contacting domestic suppliers to meet production scheduling needs. The Specialist will also provide Status Reports and Analysis to the Production Department's Manager and Director.

Responsibilities

• Handles domestic supply orders needed for production lines
• Maintain accurate count of materials in stock and withdrawals made by the department on a daily basis
• Manage the Production and Shipping schedule based on data and updates provided by both Purchasing and Sales Teams (e.g., raw materials in transit, finished products produced, expected pickup dates, etc.)
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing and related process improvement techniques while ensuring a safe work environment
• Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Production Director

What you need to succeed (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, 3-4 years of production experience within a manufacturing environment, or a combination of both
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel and formulas (e.g., Vlookup, Pivot Tables, Countif, etc.)
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds as well as bend, reach, stoop, and/or kneel for extended periods of time
• Fluency in Korean and English
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

How to stand out (Nice to Have)

• Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
• Experience with Calculus, Statistics, Trigonometry, or programming language (e.g. C++, Python, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
