Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations to ensure production goals are met safely, efficiently, and within quality standards. This role is responsible for leading a team of production employees, managing workflow, monitoring performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule daily production activities to meet production targets and delivery timelines.
• Lead and motivate production staff to achieve performance, safety, and quality objectives.
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal productivity.
• Ensure all employees follow company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Train and develop production team members on proper equipment use, safety, and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, and engineering teams to resolve production issues.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials and coordinate with the supply chain for replenishment.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to production employees.
• Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods.
• Proficient in production planning, scheduling, and reporting.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends or nights as required.
• Familiarity with ERP or manufacturing software systems.
