Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Officer to oversee and coordinate daily cigarette manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production processes, coordinating with suppliers and vendors, maintaining production schedules, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise daily cigarette production activities to ensure targets are achieved efficiently.
• Coordinate with raw material suppliers, packaging suppliers, and other vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
• Plan and manage production schedules based on sales forecasts and inventory requirements.
• Track production output and prepare regular production reports for management.
• Ensure availability of tobacco, cigarette paper, tipping paper, filters, packaging materials, and other production inputs.
• Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to maintain adequate stock levels and prevent production delays.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health & safety standards.
• Coordinate with external manufacturing partners when required.
• Analyze production data and identify opportunities for improving efficiency and reducing waste.
• Assist management in developing production budgets and cost-control initiatives.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, and supplier records.
• Resolve operational issues and escalate major concerns to management as necessary.

Requirements

• Experience in the cigarette, tobacco, FMCG, or packaging industry is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of production planning and inventory management.
• Experience dealing with suppliers and procurement processes.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in cigarette manufacturing or tobacco production.
• Knowledge of cigarette components including tobacco blends, filters, tipping paper, cigarette paper, and packaging materials.
• Experience working with international suppliers and manufacturers.
