Production supervisor cum foreman - Aluminium & Steel.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fabrication activities for aluminium, steel, stainless steel, and metal works.
• Allocate work to fabricators, welders, machine operators, fitters, and helpers.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and cutting lists.
• Coordinate with the design, planning, and project departments regarding production priorities.
• Ensure proper usage of machinery such as:
• Cutting machines
• CNC machines
• Press brakes
• Shearing machines
• Rolling machines
• Welding machines
• Inspect fabricated materials for dimensional accuracy and quality compliance.
• Ensure all materials are properly identified and handled to avoid damage or wastage.
• Monitor productivity and minimize material wastage and rework.
• Maintain housekeeping and workshop discipline.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and PPE requirements.
• Coordinate loading, dispatch, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare daily production reports and manpower reports.
• Train and guide workers to improve productivity and workmanship.
• Resolve fabrication and production-related issues on the shop floor.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of aluminium and steel fabrication processes.
• Ability to read fabrication and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of welding, cutting, bending, and assembly techniques.
• Good leadership and workforce management skills.
• Familiarity with fabrication machinery and workshop operations.
• Understanding of quality control and safety procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualification Requirements

• Minimum 3–8 years of experience in aluminium and steel fabrication industry.
• Experience in façade, cladding, structural steel, or architectural metal works is preferred.
