Professional Chef

About the Role:

A prestigious Qatari family is looking for a highly skilled and professional Chef with strong experience in preparing a wide variety of international cuisines. The ideal candidate should have a hotel or restaurant background, excellent culinary skills, and the ability to prepare high-quality meals while maintaining hygiene and presentation standards. The candidate must be capable of handling kitchen operations professionally and preparing meals according to the family’s preferences and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of international cuisines including Arabic, Continental, Asian, Italian, Indian, and other cuisines.
• Plan and prepare daily meals, special dishes, and customized menus for the family and guests.
• Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, hygiene, and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.
• Manage food storage, kitchen inventory, and stock requirements.
• Purchase fresh ingredients and ensure proper food handling procedures.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Prepare meals for special occasions, gatherings, and events when required.
• Ensure efficient kitchen operations and proper use of kitchen equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and respectful behavior while working for the family.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Hotel Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Chef in hotels, restaurants, or VIP family environments.
• Strong experience in preparing multiple international cuisines.
• Professional hotel or fine dining restaurant background is mandatory.
• Excellent knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen management.
• Ability to prepare healthy, hygienic, and high-quality meals.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours as required.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Arabic and English communication skills are preferred.
