Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Professional Engineer II (Structural) to join our engineering team in Jacksonville, FL. Responsibilities

Perform structural engineering design and analysis for a variety of projects including commercial and infrastructure.
Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Review and approve structural plans and documents prepared by junior engineers and drafters.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineering staff.
Stay current with industry trends, codes, and best practices in structural engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Structural Engineering required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering design and analysis.
Proficiency with structural engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS, or similar tools.
Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations (IBC, ACI, AISC, ASCE).
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
