Part-Time Travel Pet Sitter (1099 Contractor)

Do you love quiet nights with animals, flexible scheduling, and caring for pets while their families travel?

This Lil Dog of Mine is seeking dependable, experienced pet sitters to provide overnight stays and drop-in visits for clients who are out of town.

Please Note:
This is a 1099 independent contractor position and is supplemental income only.
Scheduling is as-needed and sporadic, based entirely on client travel. This is not a full-time or guaranteed-hours role.

This position is ideal for:

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing overnight pet sitting in clients’ homes
• Completing drop-in visits for feeding, medications, litter care, etc.
• Following detailed care instructions exactly as written
• Sending thoughtful updates and photos through our app
• Representing TLDOM with professionalism, warmth, and reliability
• Traveling within 10–15 miles of 78758 and surrounding areas

This role primarily supports traveling clients and may include holidays, school breaks, and peak vacation seasons.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has hands-on pet care experience (references required)
• Is comfortable staying overnight in clients’ homes
• Has consistent flexibility, especially during holidays and peak travel times
• Understands this is not guaranteed weekly work
• Can commit for at least 6 months
• Has a reliable, insured vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Lives in or near 78758
• Has a smartphone with GPS and camera
• Can pass a background check and complete paid training
