This position is currently located in Anchorage, Alaska.
What You Will Be Doing:
In this position, you will be responsible for providing outreach, communication, training, technical support, and all licensing activities pertaining to residential child care facilities (RCCF) and adult mental health residential homes (AMHR).
As the Program Coordinator 1, you will work closely with providers and stakeholders to ensure compliance with state statutes and regulatory standards that govern residential care facilities and ensure background check processing of RCCF and AMHR licensed providers under the authority of the Department of Health. You will be responsible for investigating reports of abuse and neglect, complaints against licensed RCCF and AMHR providers, and conducting licensure activities for all RCCF homes. You will also assist with reviewing referrals for the Complex Behavior Collaborative (CBC) program and Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASSR).
