Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Coordinator I for the Douglass Developmental Disabilities Center. This position works under the management of the Coordinator of Curriculum and Instruction and reports to the Special Education Teacher.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Collaborates with the Special Education Teacher in the assessment, development and monitoring of educational, transitional, and vocational and life-relevant programming for students with autism in the school program of the DDDC.
- Implements behavioral and educational programs with students.
- Supervises program implementation and support training of Teaching Assistants and university undergraduate fieldwork students.
- Provides immediate classroom supervision and support.
- Maintain records.
- Reports on student progress.
- Consults with parents and other professionals regarding student programming.
