This employee will be tasked with assisting the Engineering Section with day to day financial, procurement, reporting, administrative and human resource activities.
Job Duties Include:

Creating shopping carts and requisitions for section projects.

Creating carts for Agency Capital Projects.

Maintaining current filing system of purchase orders, requisitions and goods receipts.

Assisting in the procurement of Agency Minor Construction projects as well as Agency Capital Projects that Engineering Section manages.

Processing sub-recipient invoices to local governments for USFWS Sports Fish Restoration - Boating Access grants and Water Recreation Funds.

Assisting in the procurement of Professional Services for the Agency conducted by the Engineering Section.

Maintaining the Agency's database for Professional Services.

Assisting in the maintenance and updating of Engineering Section reports. Coordinating with Agency Capital Projects Analyst to assist in the preparation of PIP reports and periodically reconciling project balances.

Working in the SCEIS system to execute necessary transactions and assisting staff with questions concerning SCEIS procedures.

Assisting in the inventory process for Engineering Section.
A high school diploma and relevant program experience.
A bachelor's degree and two (2) years of relevant clerical or administrative experience; or a high school diploma and six (6) years of relevant clerical or administrative experience. Experience and expertise in the use of computer hardware and software used by DNR to perform correspondence, accounting and auditing functions. Ability to work independently and collaboratively on assigned tasks. General knowledge of grant administrative practices in the government and non-government sectors. Considerable knowledge of state administrative procedures such as accounting, procurement, and personnel practices.
