Program Leader - Heritage

Responsibilities
  • 1-Maintain strong connections within the Heritage industry to leverage professional relationships for program development and opportunities.
  • 2-Develop and sustain a professional network within the Heritage field to support collaboration, faculty engagement, and industry partnerships.
  • 3-Lead the design and review of the Heritage curriculum to ensure quality, relevance, and compliance with NQF and accreditation standards.
  • 4-Collaborate with external and international partners to enhance the program's profile and relevance, without reliance on them.
  • 5-Oversee the day-to-day management of Heritage program delivery, including teaching schedules, resource planning, budget oversight, and use of technical production equipment.
  • 6-Monitor teaching quality, learning outcomes, and assessment practices in the Heritage program to ensure continuous quality enhancement.
  • 7-Oversee curriculum planning, management, and execution for the Heritage program.
  • 8-Experienced in planning and managing resources, including staff, time, facilities, and budgets within the Heritage program.
  • 9-Proficient in analyzing student performance and feedback to inform program adjustments and improvements.
  • 10-Ability to supervise, motivate, and support faculty and administrative staff involved in the Heritage program.
Qualifications
  • PhD degree minimum in Heritage, Media, or a relevant field
  • Proven experience in academic program design, teaching, and quality assurance within the Heritage or media sector
