Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager / PMO Lead to establish, manage, and optimize program governance and project delivery across complex healthcare technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership in PMO structures, team management, and vendor oversight, with experience working with U.S.-based executive stakeholders. This role requires a balance of program governance expertise, healthcare technology exposure, and excellent communication skills to drive organizational alignment and successful program outcomes.

Key ResponsibilitiesPMO Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Project Managers, providing direction, oversight, and professional development.
  • Establish and enforce PMO standards, governance structures, and reporting frameworks.
  • Drive consistency in project planning, execution, risk management, and portfolio reporting.
  • Partner with U.S.-based executives across time zones to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and align programs with strategic objectives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, structured delivery, and continuous improvement.

Technology Program Oversight

  • Oversee vendor relationships to ensure accountability and successful solution delivery.
  • Document business requirements, manage testing cycles, and lead the team through user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA, data privacy, and security standards across all projects.
  • Support organizational change management, training, and adoption of new technology solutions.
  • Provide leadership in systems integration and cross-functional program management.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
  • 4+ years of project/program management experience, including at least 3 years leading teams or managing a PMO function.
  • Proven success in building and leading PMO structures within complex organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of project governance, portfolio management, and reporting practices.
  • Experience working with U.S.-based teams and executive stakeholders across time zones.
  • Healthcare industry experience required at a basic to intermediate level (extensive expertise not required).
  • Strong technology program management background with exposure to healthcare systems and data environments.
  • Skilled in vendor management and executive-level communication.
  • Proficiency in project/program management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, and MS Project.
