Job Title: Electrical Supervisor
Location: Project Site, Tharparkar, Sindh
Reports to: Project Manager
Job Purpose
The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for managing and executing electrical and instrumentation (E&I) project activities, including HV/LV switchgears, diesel generators, PLCs, SCADA, fire detection systems, conveyors, silo instruments, grounding, lightning protection, CCTV, and lighting systems. The role ensures timely, safe, and compliant delivery of E&I works in collaboration with internal teams and contractors, while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise field execution of E&I installations, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and timelines.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and calibration of E&I equipment and systems (e.g., PLCs, SCADA, fire detection, HV/LV systems).
- Review QA/QC documentation and verify adherence to IEC/NEC and project standards.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety protocols (LOTO, PPE, permits, confined space, hot work, etc.).
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, testing, commissioning, and site progress.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse for materials, tools, and equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering, civil, mechanical, HSE, and operations teams to resolve site challenges.
- Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Act as first responder to electrical breakdowns and support emergency troubleshooting.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- % of E&I tasks completed on time as per project schedule.
- Compliance rate with approved drawings, QA/QC, and safety standards.
- Timely submission of inspection, testing, and commissioning reports.
- First-time pass rate in equipment testing and calibration.
- Safety compliance (PPE usage, permits, zero violations).
- Timely resolution of field issues, breakdowns, and commissioning punch-list items.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Skilled in fault detection, diagnostics, and calibration of control/safety devices.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards, electrical diagrams, and instrumentation datasheets.
- Experienced in managing field teams and coordinating safe project execution.
- Knowledge of FAT/SAT procedures and hazardous zone compliance.
Key Knowledge Areas:
- IEC, NEC, and other global E&I standards.
- PLCs, SCADA, and instrumentation integration.
- Grounding, lightning protection, and electrical safety practices.
- Conveyor instrumentation and bulk material handling systems.
Leadership Competencies:
- Execution & Collaboration (Advanced).
- Adaptability & Problem Solving (Strong).
- Team management in multi-stakeholder environments.
Education & Experience
- Minimum: DAE / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics (BE preferred).
- Experience: 5–10 years in supervising E&I construction/commissioning in industrial projects (power plants, mining, or heavy industries preferred).
- Preferred Certifications: Electrical Safety (LOTO, HV), PLC/SCADA, HSE trainings.

Pay: Rs130,000.00 - Rs160,000.00 per month
