Electrical Supervisor (Manufacturing Industry Experience only)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision and Team Management
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians, technicians, and helpers.
• Assign tasks, monitor work progress, and ensure timely completion of electrical projects or maintenance tasks.
• Train, guide, and support team members in technical and safety aspects.
• Quality Control & Compliance
• Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable codes, standards (such as NEC, IEC), and company policies.
• Inspect work sites and completed tasks to verify quality and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve potential electrical hazards or defects.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with power distribution, control systems, motors, lighting, etc.
• Recommend upgrades or replacements of aging infrastructure.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and staff hours.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports on project progress, maintenance activities, and incidents.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety violations, or resource needs to management.
• Safety and Compliance
• Enforce safety protocols and use of PPE among the electrical team.
• Conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks before starting work.
• Ensure lockout/tagout procedures are followed during equipment maintenance.
• Inventory & Resource Management
• Monitor inventory of electrical materials and tools.
• Request and track supplies to avoid delays in project timelines.
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly used and maintained.
• Budget and Cost Control
• Assist in estimating labor and material costs for electrical projects.
• Monitor budgetary limits and work to reduce unnecessary expenses.
