Assistant / Deputy Manager – R&D Designer (Garments / Denim)

Lead research and development for denim and garment collections, focusing on innovation in fabric, washes, finishes, and trims to meet buyer requirements and market trends. Collaborate with merchandising, production, and washing teams to create commercially viable, trend-forward designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new denim & garment designs, washes, and finishes in line with seasonal trends.
• Research fabrics, trims, and embellishments for innovation and cost-effectiveness.
• Work with washing, sampling, and merchandising teams to execute buyer briefs.
• Present design concepts, mood boards, and prototypes to management & buyers.
• Maintain awareness of global denim fashion trends, sustainability, and technology.
