Job Description:
For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $142,000 - $213,600 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Reporting to: General Manager, NY/NJ
The Program Manager – Long Island will lead the launch and growth of our Long Island presence, serving as the local executive responsible for team engagement, operational readiness, customer development, and profitable growth, in close partnership with the NY/NJ General Manager.
This role carries strong market leadership accountability, but financial oversight and full P&L ownership will remain with the NY/NJ General Manager.

Lead the successful launch and scaling of the Long Island sister site.

Build and develop a high-performing local team across sales, operations, and service.

Drive employee engagement, safety culture, and customer satisfaction in alignment with Schneider core values.

Develop and execute a local growth strategy to increase market share and expand our installed base.

Lead business development efforts and serve as the external face of Schneider Electric in the Long Island market.

Partner with the NY/NJ General Manager on forecasting, backlog management, and growth planning.

Ensure operational readiness to deliver construction projects and service programs successfully.

Support manpower planning and recruiting to meet market growth objectives.

Conduct regular 1:1s, jobsite visits, and employee forums to continuously improve team culture and engagement.

Collaborate cross-functionally with NY/NJ branch leadership to leverage shared resources, best practices, and customer opportunities.

Financial & Operational Accountability

Accountable for delivering Long Island revenue growth and margin targets.

Responsible for accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility for the Long Island market.

Operates within an established budget framework set in partnership with the NY/NJ General Manager.

Contributes to financial planning and strategy but does not carry standalone P&L ownership.

Demonstrated leadership experience in sales, operations, or service within construction, electrical, or mechanical industries.

Strong business development acumen and comfort serving as the local executive presence.

Proven ability to build and scale teams in growth environments.

Strategic thinking with the ability to translate high-level objectives into local execution.

Experience collaborating across functional disciplines.

Strong coaching and talent development capabilities.

Change management skills, particularly in expansion or startup-like environments.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, or related field.

7+ years of leadership experience in sales, operations, or service.

Strong understanding of construction project delivery and service program execution.
