Robot Programmer

Shift: Tuesday-Friday 5:30am-3:30pm
Starting Pay: $22+/hr
We’re seeking a skilled Robot Programmer to develop and optimize robotic programs for metal forming applications using proprietary software. This role supports automation efforts that improve production efficiency and precision.
Key Responsibilities

• Program and optimize robotic systems for metal forming.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project requirements.
• Test, validate, and troubleshoot robotic systems to ensure accuracy and minimize downtime.
• Document programming changes and provide training/support to production staff.
• Stay current on robotics, automation, and metal forming advancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
• Experience programming robots in manufacturing, ideally in metal forming.
• Strong understanding of robotics, sensors, and automation principles.
• Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.
• CAD/CAM experience and knowledge of welding/machining are a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and regularly lift up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 50lbs.
• Requires close, distance, color, and depth vision.
• Must follow safety protocols and wear required PPE (safety glasses, steel toe boots).
