Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled CNC 4-Axis Milling Operator with hands-on experience in Fanuc control systems to join our production team in Doha. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining 4-axis CNC milling machines to manufacture high-precision metal components. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Setup & Operation
- Set up and operate 4-axis CNC milling machines equipped with Fanuc controllers.
- Load and secure raw materials, cutting tools, and fixtures.
- Verify machine alignment and part positioning prior to operation.
- Edit or adjust existing G-code/M-code programs when required.
Precision Machining
- Interpret complex engineering drawings, CAD models, and production orders.
- Achieve precise tolerances and surface finishes according to specifications.
- Perform dimensional inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM equipment.
Programming & Troubleshooting
- Modify and fine-tune G-code programs directly at the machine interface.
- Diagnose and resolve tooling, program, or machining issues during production.
- Optimize cutting speeds, feeds, and tool paths for maximum efficiency.
Quality Assurance
- Conduct in-process and final inspections to verify part accuracy.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and inspection records.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / AS9100 or other relevant quality standards.
Maintenance & Safety
- Perform routine maintenance, including lubrication, cleaning, and tool changes.
- Report equipment faults or malfunctions promptly to maintenance personnel.
- Follow all workplace safety protocols and machine operation guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating 4-axis CNC milling machines.
- Strong proficiency with Fanuc control systems (G-code/M-code).
- Solid understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials (steel, aluminum, etc.).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and conduct accurate part inspections.
Preferred:
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam or SolidCAM.
- Prior experience in aerospace, automotive, or mold-making industries.
