Machinist

Delta Corporation is looking for a skilled and experienced Machinist to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC and manual machines to produce high-precision components for the Oil & Gas equipment manufacturing sector (API 6A).

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines (lathe, milling, drilling, grinding, etc.).
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Perform machining operations to achieve required tolerances and surface finishes.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Ensure machines are properly maintained and report any malfunctions to supervisors.
• Follow safety and quality standards in line with API 6A and company QHSE policies.
• Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to meet production schedules and improve efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Machining / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of machining tools, materials, and cutting parameters.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
