Job Description

Position Overview:

We seek a skilled and dynamic Mechanical Engineer for a Steel Fabrication company to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate quotations, conducting site visits, creating detailed AutoCAD drawings, and assisting in warehouse operations to ensure the timely completion and delivery of steel fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quotations & Cost Estimation:
• Prepare detailed and accurate quotations based on client requirements, project specifications, and material costs.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure competitive and profitable pricing strategies.
• Site Visits:
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements, gather measurements, and address client inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and identify any potential challenges during execution.
• AutoCAD Design & Drafting:
• Develop and modify detailed AutoCAD drawings and technical blueprints for fabrication and installation.
• Coordinate with the fabrication team to ensure designs meet technical and client requirements.
• Warehouse Support:
• Oversee warehouse operations to ensure the availability of materials and tools required for project completion.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Fabrication & Delivery Coordination:
• Monitor the fabrication process to ensure adherence to quality and timelines.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery of finished products to clients.
• Client Communication:
• Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing queries and providing project updates.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to promote future collaborations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in steel fabrication, construction, or a similar industry. Hands-on experience in preparing quotations, CAD drafting, and site supervision.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software, Knowledge of steel fabrication processes and material specifications.
• Other Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Additional Requirements: Valid UAE driving license (preferred), Familiarity with local construction and fabrication standards.

Work Conditions:

• Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
• Full-time position with flexibility to travel to project sites.
• Tourist visa or cancelled visa holders are welcome to apply

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3000.00 – AED6,000.00 per month

• quote preparation: 2 years (Required)

Language:

• English, Hindi, and any additional language. (Preferred)

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
