Architect Duties & Responsibilities:

Determine timelines and budgets.

Visit building sites and ensure work is done appropriately and according to plans.

Develop and give presentations about the upcoming public building projects.

Select appropriate styles, colors, and materials according to the client’s preferences.

Adjust plans and make corrections if needed.
Architect Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related.

Strong knowledge of design software programs (AutoCAD, Revit, Newforma, etc.).

Knowledge of construction processes and operations.

Excellent technical drawing skills in 2D and 3D.

A hotel architect is responsible for the full lifecycle of hotel projects, from conceptual design to execution and site supervision, ensuring designs are functional, aesthetic, and sustainable while meeting client vision, budget, and regulatory requirements. Key duties include client consultation, developing drawings and blueprints, coordinating with engineers, selecting materials, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring construction quality through site visits.
Key Responsibilities

Design and Planning:
Develop initial design concepts, create detailed drawings, and prepare construction documents, integrating architectural, structural, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems.

Client Consultation:
Understand and interpret client needs, project objectives, and vision, presenting design proposals and revisions for feedback and approval.

Project Management:
Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and documentation, from initial development to completion.

Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure designs adhere to building codes, zoning laws, safety standards, and other legal requirements.

Site Oversight:
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, assess the quality of work, and resolve any on-site issues.

Coordination and Collaboration:
Work closely with engineers, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure the project's technical precision and design integrity.

Aesthetics and Functionality:
Create visually appealing and operationally efficient spaces, considering guest experience, ease of navigation, and the strategic placement of amenities.

Material Selection:
Research and select appropriate materials and finishes designed for durability, aesthetic appeal, and sustainability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
