We are inviting applications from fresh graduates of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) for a research/project-based position in Bahawalpur.

Qualification

· Fresh graduate with DVM degree (recognized institution)

· Strong interest in research, diagnostics, and laboratory-based work

Job Responsibilities

· Collection, handling, and processing of large ruminant samples (blood, serum, swabs, tissues, etc.)

· Virus handling under laboratory and biosafety guidelines

· Assisting in molecular and immunological techniques, including:

· ELISA

· PCR (DNA/RNA extraction, amplification, basic analysis)

· Proper labeling, documentation, and storage of biological samples

· Maintaining laboratory hygiene, biosafety, and SOP compliance

· Assisting in data recording, result compilation, and basic reporting

· Coordination with senior researchers and project team members

Additional DVM Skills (Preferred)

· Knowledge of animal handling and restraint, especially large ruminants

· Understanding of disease diagnostics and sample integrity

· Familiarity with laboratory equipment and good laboratory practices (GLP)

· Basic understanding of biosecurity and biosafety protocols

· Willingness to learn advanced diagnostic and research techniques

· Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
