Project Cargo Specialist

DP World is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Cargo Specialist to join our team in Istanbul . This role is critical in managing complex cargo operations, ensuring smooth logistics processes, and driving business growth in global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and explore potential global markets to identify new business opportunities.
• Find and convert potential clients into long-term customers, ensuring consistent follow-up.
• Receive and complete customer requests with accuracy and efficiency.
• Handle customer sales inquiries and provide tailored solutions.
• Study the export & logistics market to identify the best approaches for prospecting and client development.
• Develop and maintain a sales information system, including an updated customer database to support decision-making.
Follow up on logistics processes and procedures for all shipments, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.

Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
• 4–5 years of proven experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in project cargo operations.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, international shipping, and freight management.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess data and make informed decisions.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced level of English & Turkish.
