Job Description

Planning and Scheduling

  • Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning) using Primavera P6 or equivalent tools.

  • Prepare and maintain the Project Execution Plan (PEP), ensuring integration of scope, schedule, and cost baselines.

  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure accurate progress updates and schedule forecasts.

  • Identify schedule deviations, analyze their impact, and propose corrective actions to maintain project timelines.

  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and milestone tracking tools for management reporting.

2. Cost Control and Reporting

  • Establish and maintain project cost control systems, budgets, and forecasts.

  • Track actual expenditures against budgets and report cost variances, trends, and performance indices (CPI, SPI).

  • Support the preparation of monthly project progress reports, highlighting schedule and cost performance, risk areas, and recovery plans.

  • Interface with finance and procurement to ensure accurate cash flow projections and payment schedules.

3. Risk and Change Management

  • Support risk identification, quantification, and mitigation planning in collaboration with project teams.

  • Evaluate the impact of change orders and variations on project schedule and cost baselines.

  • Maintain change management logs and ensure proper documentation and approval processes are followed.

4. Coordination and Interface

  • Liaise with client representatives to ensure alignment on progress measurement and reporting formats.

  • Coordinate internally with engineering, procurement, and construction departments for data collection and progress validation.

  • Participate in progress review meetings and prepare presentation materials for management and clients.

5. Documentation and Compliance

  • Ensure all project control documents, reports, and procedures are properly maintained and compliant with company standards and project requirements.

  • Contribute to lessons learned and project closeout documentation for continuous improvement.
