Civil Project Manager

Key Accountabilities :

• Direct engineering activities, ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, or other governmental regulations.
• Manage and direct the construction, operations, or maintenance activities at the project site.
• Manage project budget, quality, time, and safety.
• Negotiate the contracts of subcontractors, and communicate with inspectors and architects.
• Meet with site engineers and coordinate the delivery of materials with vendors.
• Coordinate with clients to ensure the design meets their needs and specifications
• Schedule and overseeing construction activities to ensure that deadlines are met
• Monitor project budgets to ensure costs are within reasonable limits.
• Review plans for design flaws and making recommendations for improvement
• Monitor the work of engineers to ensure that they are adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• Provide technical support to contractors during the construction phase of a project.
• Develop project timelines, including phases of implementation, completion dates, and milestones along the way
• Assisting in the development of bids for projects that may be put out to bid by clients.
• Ensuring that all applicable laws and regulations are followed during construction.

Key Job Specifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or any related field.

Skills: Structural Design and Structural Shop Drawings.

Experience:20 years of related experience.
