Job Title: Project Coordinator – Construction

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our project management team and ensure smooth execution of construction activities from initiation to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information to support successful delivery.
- Provide engineering and technical support for projects at various stages of construction.
- Liaise with clients to identify project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Assist in preparing prequalification documents, bid packages, proposal specifications, and drawings.
- Prepare RFQs and obtain quotations from suppliers and agents; issue purchase orders accordingly.
- Manage IFB, RFP, and RFI processes for construction projects, services, and supplies.
- Liaise with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining approved supplier records.
- Prepare presentation materials and project status reports for internal and external meetings.
- Update construction schedules, track progress, and inspect material deliveries.
- Monitor project performance and address issues as they arise.
- Act as the central point of contact and communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, method statements, HSE, and quality records.
- Assist Project Managers/Engineers in developing and maintaining project schedules.
- Receive, review, and track submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Prepare monthly project status reports for management and clients.
- Organize and participate in stakeholder meetings, ensuring follow-up on action items.
- Support project handover activities and ensure proper documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Project Coordinator in the construction industry (UAE experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, project documentation, and procurement.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and supplier coordination.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
- Familiarity with HSE standards and quality management procedures.
