Guerdon is the premier manufacturer of wood-framed, multi-family, industrial workforce housing, and light commercial modular buildings. Proudly made in the USA at our facility in Boise, Idaho, we serve clients across the Western United States and Canada, primarily in the hospitality and housing industries. With a strong focus on multi-family and multi-story apartments and hotels, our projects are custom-built to meet local codes, client specifications, and architectural design requirements.

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our team in Boise, Idaho. This position will report directly to the Senior Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial construction, with the ability to manage and coordinate projects from concept to completion. This role may require travel to various job sites as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the project management team, including preparing reports, presentations, and other project-related materials.
  • Assist in the development of contract exhibits for Supply Agreement, including scope of work, Interior Finish Matrix, Door Schedule, Window Schedule, Milestone & Delivery Schedule, and other applicable documents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and action items.
  • Create and manage RFIs, Submittals, Change Order logs, and other job specific documentation for the lifecycle of the project.
  • Monitor project progress against established milestones, tracking task completion and identifying any potential delays or issues, and reporting them to the appropriate parties.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for project team members, stakeholders, and external partners, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment.
  • Schedule and organize project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status updates, and post-mortem reviews, ensuring all relevant parties are informed and engaged.
  • Support the implementation of quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet established standards and client expectations.
  • Facilitate cross-department collaboration and communication to ensure scope and schedule alignment to drive project success.
  • Contribute to the identification of process improvements and best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, providing guidance and support to project team members as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential and commercial construction preferred.
  • Experience with prefabricated construction methods preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
  • Familiarity with sustainability and green building practices.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for projects (occasionally).

  • Self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Learning agility to master new software.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and reach, stoop kneel.
  • Light to moderately lifting is required.
  • Ability to navigate construction sites when necessary.
  • Capable of working in various environmental conditions, including exposure to outdoor weather, dust, and noise typical of construction sites.
  • Visual acuity to read blueprints, technical documents, and computer screens.
  • Hearing ability to communicate effectively in a noisy environment.
  • Ability to work in shared space.
