Role Summary

The Project Coordinator (Governance & Standardization) will provide administrative and operational support to the Governance & Standardization Lead within the PMO. This entry-level role will assist in maintaining governance documentation, coordinating meetings, tracking compliance, and supporting reporting activities across the enterprise technology portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, delivery teams, and PMO stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of governance routines and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of governance documentation, templates, and artefacts.
  • Coordinate meetings and forums, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.
  • Assist in tracking project compliance with governance standards and escalate deviations as needed.
  • Maintain governance dashboards and reporting tools, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
  • Support onboarding of project teams to governance processes and tools.
  • Help compile reports and presentations for executive and operating committee meetings.
  • Respond to routine queries from project teams regarding governance procedures and documentation.
  • Collaborate with PMO and delivery teams to ensure consistent application of governance practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline administrative processes.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and data management standards in all governance activities.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience in an administrative, project support, or coordination role (internships or work placements considered).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic analytical skills and experience in data entry, reporting, or documentation.
  • Professional attitude and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Willingness to participate in upskilling programs and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Experience supporting technology or transformation projects in a PMO or governance function.
  • Familiarity with Agile and hybrid delivery models.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and basic dashboard/reporting techniques.
  • Interest in learning AI-driven tools for governance automation and compliance tracking.
