PROJECT COORDINATOR – JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Project Coordinator – Lighting and Smart Home System Installation
Department: DAL Group (DAL Studio · DAL Store · Kontract)
Reports To: Group Site Engineer
Location: Kuwait
1. Role Summary
The Project Coordinator plays a central role in managing and coordinating all site-related activities for DAL Studio, DAL Store, and Kontract. This includes daily installation scheduling, manpower allocation, material coordination, site observation, client communication, and ensuring smooth execution of all lighting and smart-home installations.
The role requires an Electrical Engineering background (preferred) or Civil Engineering, with hands-on site experience and strong organizational skills.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Installation Planning & Scheduling
- Create the daily installation plan for all ongoing projects.
- Update the plan daily based on progress and site observations.
- Allocate and dedicate manpower, assigning teams for each task.
- Ensure proper coordination between DAL Studio, DAL Store, and Kontract projects (mock-ups, free installations, wiring, smart installations, etc.).
B. Site Observation & Reporting
- Visit sites 2–3 times per week to observe progress and performance.
- Check layouts, installation status, and verify if the project is completed or pending.
- Report observations clearly to the operations team and update the installation schedule accordingly.

C. Briefing & Internal Coordination
- Determine when a technical briefing meeting is required.
- Coordinate between installation team leaders, engineers, operations, and any other involved parties.
- Ensure everyone receives the latest drawings, details, and project notes.
D. Material & Resource Coordination
- Arrange scaffolding when required and send booking links to clients.
- Request and dispatch materials (e.g., wires, tools) and coordinate with the driver for purchases.
- Ensure all required materials are available before installation.
E. Client Communication
- Communicate installation dates, daily updates, delays, or changes.
- Share project progress and completion updates with clients.
- Inform clients about any balance installations or next steps.
3. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in site or construction work.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and layouts.
- Strong understanding of site workflow and manpower coordination.
4. Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (tracking, scheduling, reporting).
- Excellent Arabic communication (Preferred) and English (Required).
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team player with high responsibility and professionalism.
- Valid Kuwait driving license (mandatory).
5. Preferred Personal Qualities
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Strong follow-up and proactive problem-solving.
- Objective-driven and reliable.
- Able to coordinate between multiple departments smoothly.
- Preference given to female candidates, in line with organizational workflow needs (but all qualified applicants are welcome).

Pay: KD300.000 - KD400.000 per month
