Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring all activities related to the manufacturing, supply, and installation of wooden doors. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with client specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Coordination

• Assist Project Manager in planning project timelines and deliverables
• Coordinate between design, production, procurement, and site teams

Production Coordination (Factory)

• Coordinate with factory team for:
• Door production schedules
• Veneer selection, polishing, and finishing
• Track progress of:
• Fire-rated doors
• Acoustic doors
• Solid wood / engineered doors Procurement & Materials
• Monitor availability of materials such as:
• Timber
• Veneers
• Hardware (hinges, locks, closers)
• Coordinate with procurement team for timely ordering
• Ensure materials meet approved specifications

Site Coordination

• Coordinate delivery and installation schedules with site engineers
• Ensure proper handling and installation of doors at site
• Attend site meetings when required

Client & Consultant Coordination

• Act as a point of contact between:
• Client
• Consultant
• Internal teams
• Provide updates on project progress
• Handle queries and follow-ups

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain:
• Project files
• Submittals log
• Inspection requests
• Prepare:
• Daily / weekly progress reports
• Meeting minutes
• Track project milestones and delays

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure doors meet:
• Approved samples
• Fire-rating standards (if applicable)
• Coordinate inspections and approvals
• Ensure compliance with project specifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s in:
• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Interior Design
• Construction Management

Experience

• 2–5 years in:
• Joinery / wooden doors manufacturing
• Interior fit-out / construction

Technical Knowledge

• Knowledge of:
• Wooden doors types (fire-rated, veneer, laminate)
• Joinery processes and materials
• Ability to read:
• Shop drawings
• Technical specifications

Software Skills

• MS Excel (advanced preferred)
• MS Project or Primavera (basic knowledge)
• AutoCAD (advantage)
• Strong communication skills
• Time management & multitasking
• Problem-solving ability
