Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and execution of site mobilization activities including setup of site offices, facilities, and utilities to ensure readiness for project commencement.
- Organize and oversee transport arrangements between project sites and head office, ensuring smooth and timely movement of staff, labor, and materials.
- Coordinate with the Procurement Department for purchasing materials, tools, and consumables required for site operations, ensuring timely delivery in line with project schedules.
- Prepare and submit required documents, applications, and forms to government authorities, consultants, and clients in accordance with project requirements.
- Follow up with relevant authorities, utility departments, and municipalities to obtain No Objection Certificates (NOCs) and permits.
- Arrange and manage labor accommodations, site stores, and related facilities to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Draft, translate, and handle Arabic correspondence, letters, and communications with government entities and other concerned departments.
- Coordinate and arrange security passes for staff, labor, and subcontractors for access to restricted project sites.
- Liaise with the company PRO to monitor visa applications, renewals, and cancellations for staff and labor, ensuring legal compliance.
- Manage site petty cash transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure proper accounting of site-related miscellaneous expenses.
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to Project Managers, ensuring smooth project execution and adherence to schedules.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in a project coordination role within EPC projects (power transmission, substations, pipelines, or infrastructure).
- Familiarity with EPC project lifecycles (engineering, procurement, construction).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of MS Project/Primavera is an advantage.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in English; fluency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
