Project Coordinator / QA Lead (short-term contract/engagement-based)

Location : Karachi (with remote oversight of field teams across Sindh)

Education: Postgraduate degree in Education, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or a related field.

Experience: 8-12 years of experience in education programs, QA, monitoring and evaluation, or large-scale field research.

Job Description

  • Lead overall planning, coordination, and execution of the QA review across five regions and approximately 150 schools.
  • Provide technical guidance on QA tools, indicators, and field protocols (school verification, classroom observations, teacher questionnaires, child interaction tasks).
  • Manage and supervise Regional Senior QA Field Leads, ensuring adherence to timelines, ethical standards, and quality benchmarks.
  • Review incoming field data daily to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or quality concerns; provide corrective guidance to field teams.
  • Ensure standardization of data collection practices across regions (Sindhi/Urdu medium, urban/rural, boys’/girls’ schools).
  • Serve as the primary focal point for coordination with RSU, PMIU-SELECT, PITE, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee risk management, including access challenges, ethical concerns, and field-level bottlenecks.
  • Support post-field phases, including data triangulation, interpretation, and contribution to reporting and dissemination outputs.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of classroom practices, teacher support systems, and public-sector schooling in Sindh.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-region field teams and complex datasets.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Candidates must have their own laptop and mobile phone, along with reliable internet connectivity, as these are essential for the role.
