Job Description

Tristar Engineering & Construction is looking for a Design Office Engineer to support our ongoing and upcoming infrastructure projects. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and coordinating design works for highways, bridges, utilities, and roads. Candidates should bring strong technical expertise, proficiency in design software, and the ability to deliver accurate and high-quality outputs within project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience in design engineering for infrastructure projects (highways, bridges, high-speed railways and infrastructure).
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural design principles, codes, and standards (UAE and international).
• Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, MIDAS, or similar.
• Excellent skills in project documentation, drawings review, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and compliance with timelines.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate design drawings and documents for highways, roads, utilities, and bridge projects.
• Ensure all design work complies with UAE and international engineering standards, specifications, and safety codes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide technical input and resolve design-related challenges.
• Conduct design reviews to ensure accuracy, quality, and constructability.
• Support project managers by delivering timely design outputs aligned with project schedules and client requirements.
• Utilize engineering design software effectively to produce detailed and precise designs.
• Provide technical support during tendering, construction, and implementation phases.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, consultants, and contractors to align project goals and expectations.
