Overview

The Project Director will take overall leadership of a flagship hospitality project. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, execution, and successful delivery of the project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest international standards. You will manage project teams, oversee contractors and consultants, and act as the key representative to the client.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and full oversight of hospitality projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and project milestones.
• Act as the principal point of contact for the client, stakeholders, and authorities, ensuring transparent communication and strong relationships.
• Lead and direct project teams, including consultants, contractors, and subcontractors, to achieve project delivery goals.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules at a strategic level, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated early.
• Oversee all commercial and contractual aspects, including major variations, claims, and dispute resolution.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and quality standards, while maintaining the highest level of health and safety.
• Drive excellence in delivery, with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and value for money for the client.

Requirements

• 20+ years of experience in Project/Construction Management, with at least 5+ years in a Project Director capacity.
• Significant KSA experience, ideally with exposure to hospitality projects.
• Proven track record of delivering projects valued at a minimum of SAR 700 million from initiation through to completion.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing large multi-disciplinary teams.
• Stable career history with Tier 1 Main Contractors or leading Project Management Consultants.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on leadership approach with regular presence on site to drive performance.
