About the Role

As a Project Director, you are the conductor of our orchestra-the one who ensures that every piece, from creative to operations, blends together to deliver a world-class event. You will lead the full life cycle of a project from pitch through working across departments, managing stakeholders, and delivering outstanding results.

What You'll Do

  1. Take Ownership from Pitch to Wrap-Up: Oversee every aspect of the event lifecycle.
  2. Lead & Inspire: Manage, mentor, and develop your project team.
  3. Be the Client's Strategic Partner: Manage relationships, ensure satisfaction, and exceed expectations.
  4. Create & Execute the Master Plan: Own the project timeline, workflows, and operations.
  5. Align Cross-Functionally: Work closely with programming, creative, sponsorship, production, and logistics teams.
  6. Develop & Deliver Against KPIs: Set measurable goals and drive team success.
  7. Own the Guest Experience: Ensure every touchpoint delivers a seamless, high-impact journey.
  8. Integrate Sponsorship & Marketing: Maximize ROI for clients, partners, and sponsors.
  9. Manage Commercial Performance: Own budgets, revenue streams, and P&L responsibility.
  10. Oversee Licensing & Compliance: Work with authorities, venues, and stakeholders to ensure approvals.
  11. Solve Problems in Real Time: Make quick strategic decisions in high-pressure situations.
  12. Wrap Up Like a Pro: Lead final reconciliations, debriefs, and reporting to refine future projects.

About You

You're a senior event professional with a proven track record of leading large, complex projects. You should be:

  1. A Natural Leader: Able to inspire, mentor, and get the best out of your team.
  2. Strategic & Detail-Oriented: Thinking big while executing flawlessly.
  3. A Problem-Solver Under Pressure: Staying cool, calm, and collected when challenges arise.
  4. Commercially Savvy: Understanding cost and revenue dynamics, sponsorships, and financials.
  5. An Exceptional Communicator: Comfortable engaging stakeholders at every level.
  6. Audience-Centric: Focused on crafting experiences that captivate and engage.
  7. Deeply Knowledgeable in Event Production & Operations: You know what it takes to make an event truly great.

What You Need to Apply

  1. 10 years of experience managing complex, high-profile event projects.
  2. Previous experience in the Middle East.
  3. Background in festivals, sports, and/or large-scale public events.
  4. A valid driving license.
  5. Fluent written & spoken English.

Bonus Points if You

  1. Have successfully managed multisite events.
  2. Speak, read, and write Arabic.
