Project Director

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the successful delivery of large-scale mixed-use developments in Abu Dhabi. The role will oversee the full project lifecycle from mobilization through to snag-free handover ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality execution. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on leadership, deep technical expertise in complex residential and mixed-use projects, and exceptional stakeholder management skills to drive coordination across multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic oversight from pre-construction to handover across multiple projects.
• Lead construction planning, execution, resourcing, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi’s building codes, regulatory approvals, and safety regulations.
• Supervise and coordinate with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Liaise directly with clients, consultants, authorities (e.g., ADM, Estidama), and internal departments.
• Monitor budgets, progress, procurement, and quality control across project phases.
• Lead regular progress and coordination meetings with stakeholders.
• Resolve technical issues, design conflicts, and construction bottlenecks efficiently.
• Guarantee timely delivery and snag-free handover in line with project specifications.

​​​​​​​Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture (Master’s Degree is preferred).
• Minimum of 20 years of progressive construction experience, including at least 5 years in a Project Director or equivalent leadership role.
• Proven track record in delivering projects through to successful handover within Abu Dhabi or across the UAE.
• In-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi construction regulations, authority approvals, and permitting processes (e.g., DMT, ADM).
• Strong expertise in contract administration, preferably under FIDIC conditions, along with solid experience in project planning and control systems.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Fluency in Arabic is required.

Pay: AED50,000.00 - AED60,000.00 per month
