Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Project Director. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of large-scale projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget parameters. You will provide strategic direction, drive operational excellence, and lead a multidisciplinary team to achieve project objectives while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Direct and oversee all phases of building projects from conception through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and client expectations

Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress against established baselines and implementing corrective actions as needed

Lead, mentor, and evaluate project management teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities, ensuring transparent communication and issue resolution

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to minimize impact on project delivery

Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements

Monitor and control project costs, manage change orders, and optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency

Prepare and present comprehensive project reports, performance metrics, and executive summaries to senior leadership and stakeholders

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all project phases

Coordinate with PMC teams to streamline operations and enhance project delivery capabilities
Qualifications-
Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a director-level or senior management position

Proven expertise in managing large-scale construction and building projects with budgets exceeding $50 million

Strong knowledge of PMC organizational structures and project delivery methodologies

Demonstrated proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent)

Advanced skills in budget management, cost control, and financial analysis

Excellent leadership and team management capabilities with experience building and developing high-performing teams

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisive decisions under pressure

Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulatory compliance requirements

Experience with contract management and vendor/supplier coordination

Proficiency in ERP systems and data analysis tools for reporting and performance tracking

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders

Experience working on international projects or in multicultural environments (preferred)

Familiarity with Saudi Arabia's construction industry and regulatory environment (preferred)
