Project Director

The Project Director is responsible for the overall leadership, planning, execution, and successful delivery of one or more major projects. The role ensures that all project objectives are achieved within scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the project team, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Lead the full project lifecycle, from planning and development through delivery and handover.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project performance against cost, time, quality, and risk targets.
• Oversee financial control, contract administration, procurement, and reporting.
• Manage stakeholder communication, including clients, senior management, authorities, and vendors.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, HSE standards, and quality standards.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in major project or program management.
• Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Background in construction, infrastructure, engineering, or large-scale development is often preferred.
• Ability to manage budgets, contracts, schedules, and high-level stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is commonly required.

Pay: QAR240.00 - QAR400.00 per hour
