Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished Project Director - Commissioning to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a large-scale commissioning project across complex MEP systems. This senior leadership role will oversee all phases of commissioning, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, client requirements, and regulatory standards while maintaining timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. Project location: Ras Al-Khaimah.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in MEP project delivery and commissioning, particularly within large infrastructure or high-rise developments, and demonstrate strong leadership, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of commissioning projects, ensuring alignment with contractual, technical, and client objectives.
• Oversee commissioning planning, execution, validation, and documentation processes across all systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).
• Manage multidisciplinary commissioning teams and interface with design, construction, and QA/QC teams.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards and project-specific requirements.
• Develop project strategies, resource plans, risk assessments, and commissioning schedules.
• Represent the commissioning team in client meetings, technical workshops, and coordination reviews.
• Monitor project KPIs, financials, and progress, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement in commissioning methodologies, tools, and reporting practices.
• Provide mentorship to project managers, engineers, and coordinators within the commissioning team.
• Support business development activities, including proposals, client engagement, and strategic planning.

Qualifications /Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (post-graduate education such as a Masters degree is a plus).
• A minimum of 20+ years of experience in MEP project management, from hands-on to leadership roles with at least 10 years of experience in the Middle East.
• Strong track record of delivering complex projects in the Middle East. Experience with Casino projects is an advantage.
• Familiarity with UAE and regional building codes, and commissioning standards.
• Demonstrated growth through additional certified training (e.g., CSA, LEED, PMP, ACG).
• Proficiency in software platforms such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Revit.
