Role Overview:
The Project Director will be responsible for leading and managing large-scale construction and city development projects from concept to completion. This strategic role requires deep technical expertise, leadership in multidisciplinary environments, and a results-oriented approach to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery. The Project Director will act as the single point of accountability for the planning, execution, and handover of assigned projects, aligning them with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop the overall strategy, timeline, and roadmap for assigned city or construction projects.

Define scope, budgets, risk assessments, and project milestones in alignment with executive goals.

Lead project visioning in coordination with urban planners, architects, and civil teams.

Oversee master planning, infrastructure design, and vertical construction for mixed-use developments or city-scale projects.

Ensure detailed project scheduling and resource allocation across all phases (design, procurement, construction, and handover).

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying and mitigating potential delays or risks.

Manage and mentor multidisciplinary teams including engineers, architects, contractors, and consultants.

Foster strong collaboration between internal departments (planning, design, commercial, legal, and procurement).

Coordinate with public authorities, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders to ensure compliance and engagement.

Develop and monitor project budgets; ensure projects are delivered within agreed financial parameters.

Oversee cost management and value engineering processes to maximize return on investment.

Enforce quality assurance and control procedures across all project activities.

Ensure all construction and infrastructure work complies with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture (Master’s degree or PMP certification is a strong plus).

15+ years of progressive experience in large-scale construction and urban development projects.

Proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar infrastructure or city development programs.

Strong background in working with governmental entities, regulatory approvals, and zoning.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Strong analytical, budgeting, and strategic planning capabilities.

Proficient in project management software (Primavera, MS Project, AutoCAD, BIM, etc.).

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with conflicting priorities under tight deadlines.
