Project Engineer

1. Project Planning & Coordination

• Prepare, review, and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved as per schedule.

2. Site Supervision & Execution

• Monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Manage construction resources including manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions on site.

3. Quality Assurance & Control

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and codes.
• Conduct inspections and tests on materials and workmanship.
• Maintain quality control records and prepare reports.

4. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Enforce safety regulations and promote safe working practices.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
• Conduct toolbox talks and risk assessments.

5. Technical & Documentation

• Review and interpret engineering drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Prepare method statements, work programs, and progress reports.
• Maintain proper documentation for approvals, inspections, and project correspondence.

6. Communication & Reporting

• Act as a point of contact between client, consultant, and contractor.
• Report project status, progress, risks, and issues to project manager or senior management.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates.

7. Cost & Resource Management

• Monitor project costs and control wastage of materials and labor.
• Ensure procurement of materials and equipment in line with project requirements.
• Assist in preparing variation orders and claims.

8. Problem Solving & Decision Making

• Address unexpected site conditions and provide quick technical solutions.
• Support in resolving design discrepancies and construction conflicts.

9. Leadership & Team Management

• Supervise and guide junior engineers, supervisors, and site staff.
• Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure team efficiency.
• Encourage teamwork and professional development.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED6,500.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
