Project Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer to manage and execute villa renovation projects, ensuring high-quality delivery, adherence to timelines, and coordination between multiple trades. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in site execution, knowledge of civil and interior works, and a strong ability to manage subcontractors, consultants, and site teams in premium residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site execution of villa renovation projects from demolition to final finishes.
• Interpret architectural and MEP drawings and ensure works are carried out as per design intent and specifications.
• Plan and schedule construction activities, track progress, and report daily/weekly updates to the project manager.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, labor, vendors, and consultants on site.
• Monitor quality of workmanship, materials, and finishing details to ensure premium standards.
• Identify and resolve technical issues on-site and escalate critical matters when required.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, site protocols, and municipal guidelines.
• Maintain project documentation including site logs, inspection reports, material approvals, and snag lists.
• Assist in cost control by minimizing wastage, ensuring efficient resource use, and tracking variations.
• Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams to provide updates and align execution goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in villa renovation or high-end residential interior fit-outs.
• Strong knowledge of civil, structural, interior finishing, MEP coordination, and waterproofing systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project / Primavera, and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple renovation projects or phases simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and timelines.

Preferred:

• Experience working on luxury or heritage villa renovations.
• Understanding of local building codes and permit processes.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and make independent decisions on-site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
