Project Engineer

Job description:

We are looking for a multi-skilled Project Engineer with a strong background in construction and technical services. The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects, lead on-site operations, and ensure that all work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, within approved timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site assessments and evaluate staff performance to ensure project goals are achieved.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction and maintenance activities across multiple trades — Civil, MEP, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, and Painting.
• Collaborate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Resolve technical and operational challenges promptly to minimize project delays.
• Oversee procurement processes and ensure timely delivery of required materials and equipment.
• Conduct site inspections, enforce safety standards, and implement quality control procedures.
• Prepare project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, and technical submissions.
• Assist in cost estimation and quotation preparation for upcoming projects.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE construction standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Engineering (or related discipline).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP or related engineering projects within the UAE.
• Proven experience managing residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE regulations, codes, and construction standards.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
• Ability to manage and motivate a multi-disciplinary team.
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
