Project Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities across our real estate development projects. The Project Engineer will work closely with the Construction Manager, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure that works are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with design specifications and quality standards. This is a key technical role requiring site experience, strong coordination skills, and a solid understanding of construction methods and authority regulations in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing construction works as per project timelines and specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure proper workflow and site readiness.
• Review construction drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals for compliance with design and standards.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure proper implementation of project plans.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and submit to the project and construction management teams.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, discrepancies, and design-related challenges on-site.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Support procurement in verifying material quantities and site delivery coordination.
• Coordinate inspections with authorities such as Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, and Civil Defence.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the UAE construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project scheduling tools (Primavera/MS Project is a plus).
• Familiarity with UAE authority requirements and approval processes.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mid- to large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
• Understanding of MEP coordination and sequencing.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with ISO, QA/QC procedures, and HSE standards.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED13,000.00 per month
