Project Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Interior professional to manage and coordinate interior fit-out projects from design development to final handover. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage interior fit-out projects from initiation to completion
• Coordinate with designers, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Review interior drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and specifications
• Supervise site activities including carpentry, joinery, gypsum, flooring, painting, and finishes
• Ensure quality control and adherence to design intent
• Monitor project schedules, progress, and costs
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical/site issues
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
• Prepare project reports and attend coordination meetings

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in interior design, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in interior fit-out or interior contracting projects
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and interior construction methods
• Ability to read and interpret interior drawings and BOQs
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (AutoCAD knowledge is a plus)
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure
• Arabic Speaking is plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality interior projects
• Knowledge of local authority approvals and standards
• UAE/GCC experience
