Facilities Management (FM) Project Engineer

Location: UAE

Experience: Minimum 5-7 Years

Job Type: Full‑Time Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and proactive FM Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, supervision, and close‑out of Facilities Management projects. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise in MEP systems, maintenance coordination, and client interface, with the ability to ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and HSE standards. Key Responsibilities Project Support & Execution

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and closing FM projects in line with contract requirements.
  • Coordinate manpower planning, resource allocation, and material procurement.
  • Support testing, commissioning, handover, and project close‑out activities.

Technical & Operational Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily FM operations including:
  • Electrical systems (LV Panels, MCCs, MDBs, SMDBs, DBs)
  • Solar systems
  • HVAC systems
  • Plumbing & drainage systems
  • Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting (FA/FF) systems
  • BMS and low-voltage systems
  • Associated civil maintenance works
  • Coordinate preventive & corrective maintenance to ensure asset reliability and minimum downtime.
  • Conduct routine site inspections to verify compliance with technical standards and operational requirements.
  • Resolve technical issues, support fault rectification, and implement corrective actions.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all activities comply with SLA, KPI, method statements, approved drawings, and safety regulations.
  • Enforce HSE, quality, and environmental management practices at all times.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports, technical reports, and KPI updates.
  • Maintain structured documentation for work orders, inspections, and project records.

Coordination & Communication

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal FM teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Review MEP & civil technical drawings, specifications, and work methodologies before execution.
  • Support procurement teams by ensuring correct technical specifications and timely material delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent engineering field.
  • Experience in Facilities Management / MEP maintenance preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, maintenance workflows, and FM operations.
  • Good communication, reporting, and client‑handling skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with SLAs, KPIs, HSE standards, and industry best practices.
